When I have to get ready to leave early-ish in the morning, I turn on the Weather Channel for informative company. When I first turned it on today, the ever-so-comforting computer generated voice informed me that, "Currently, in your area, the temperature is...30 degrees." Shiny, warmer than yesterday when I had to stand at the bus stop. Ten minutes later and the temperature had dropped a couple degrees. I was confused until I looked outside and realized that it's snowing.
And I mean really snowing. Not like a blizzard, but definitely more than a flurry - and some of it's sticking. The flakes are huge and fluffy, and because it's still pretty early, the paths were still perfect and unmucked when I got off the bus. Add in a Christmas soundtrack via iPod and Hollywood couldn't do better if they tried.
