On a Lack of LJ Postings

I know I don't post near enough. I've been trying to figure out why, and have come up with some theories:

  1. It's stressful. No, really. When I post, unless I have something very specific to talk about, I have to think about everything that's going on and that I'm supposed to be doing. Stress. Ugh.
  2. If it's not stressful, it's probably angst or drama. I dislike angsting or drama...ing...in public forums. Most of the time, anyhow.
  3. When I post about things that I'm really interested in (religion, politics, etc.), drama ensues and I end up getting comments like, "Maybe you shouldn't post things you know will cause drama" (I'm too lazy right now to find the exact quote). I'm not trying to cause drama, so I've been avoiding posting these things as much as I can stand to. And I always try to be as inoffensive as I can be.
  4. It requires more brain organization than I have most days.

...All those theories are probably right to some extent. Plus some other things that I'm not going to talk about because of reasons number two and three. Anyhow.

So there's not a lot going on, but there are a lot of things happening. New computer, some fun new medications (joy XP), and lots of rain.

Crunch time is coming. Actually - crunch time is here. My papers and projects due this week are causing me more stress than I think exams will.
