I know that envy is regarded as the worst sin (god forbid someone commit murder), but I think a rule should be made that goes about as follows
( Read more... )
So, you propose that I limit my vocabulary, when speaking with "FEMALE1", because it will make you feel better? Let me see... no. I'm sorry, MALE2, I have nothing against you, but I do have something against people trying to censor what I say. I fight it.
What you have limited is how and when I get to talk to Julia. It's obvious that when she's on your computer, I can't speak freely. Either you saved the conversation or were reading over her back. Or maybe she let you read it when she was done, knowing that I meant no harm.
By the way, we're doing a gender studies unit in my english class. "My woman" brings up a lot of stereotypes.
--MALE1
P.S. I'm not trying to pick a fight. I'm just letting you know the status of the rule you proposed.
P.P.S. I forgot to mention something. The rules stats that MALE1 may not refer to FEMALE1 as "attractive." Does that mean "sexy" is unacceptable as well? "Gorgeous"? "Beautiful"? "Erotic"? "Stimulating"? "Intellectual"? "A wonderful person"? According to your proposed rule, am I no longer allowed to compliment her at all?
Hey, Larry. I'm not trying to get in the middle of this, I just wanted to let you know that "my woman" is acceptable to me (not that anything you said wasn't acceptable, don't get that impression). I just wanted you to know that I like my boyfriend to be possessive of me, and I think it's kinda cute when he calls me "his" woman. : )
Absofuckinglutely. After all I've been through with her, she went off to you and the last thing I need is you saying things like that to her. HELL... she didn't even like it and said so later in the conversation. Imagine how bad it is to see Liz with nick.. just sit there and imagine it, and maybe, just maybe you begin to get the feeling that I have whenever I hear Julia say the words,"I'm going to San Antonio". That USUALLY (but not always) means that she will see you. I don't think you can even begin to understand the pain, hatred, sadness, grief, torment, and rage when I lost her for those few short hours, those thousands of minutes, and those hundreds of thousands of seconds. And now it's probably going to happen all again because of my parents wishes... Fuck no, I don't need to see, read, or hear anything from you pertaining to how "sexy" Julia is. And when I do, it just throws me back into memories that I'd love to forget, and just make me angered. So anger me if you really want to... but I truthfully don't think you're that type of person.
