I made it!
The trip was great. I slept to ATL. Then my dad took us to the gold crown room where we had mini parfaits and i had a vodka cranberry orange juice. We met my sis and bro, and then sat on the runway for two hours in the rain. It was soothing, i read some goodness!
I had a row of three all to myself, so I was out like a light after the movie swing vote. IT's a cute movie. It left me thinking about the state of my life and where the US is going. I woke up to my sister saying "breakfast!" We had warm croissants with jelly and a banana. We left the airport to find out we're to early to check in at the hotel, so we walked around. We went to this place called EXK, which is an organic healthy food restaurant. It was super tastey! Then we walked to a cathedral, the musical instrument museum, and back. The museum was cool, you get headsets and when you stand in front of an instrument, a selection of music including that instrument plays. There was one thing that had atomatons on it from the 16th century, and it was kinda gruesome. One woman was having her mouth stitched shut by a gleeful looking man as she screamed in pain, another was on the ground being held by a man, and a rather regretful looking upperclassman standing above her holding a set of clippers above her nethers. All of this was accompanied by a chipper fairground tune.
After that i sorely needed a nap, so we came back to check in and were helped by a blind woman. This was particularly coold because she had an extension to her keyboard that would rise and fall with information translating the text on the screen into brail. She functioned just as well as anyone else would behind a desk!
Well, we're headed to dinner. I hope you don't mind that I posted instead of emailing, it was the first thing that came to mind! I love you and I miss you! I hope you're having a good day!
