This is almost late enough that I'm wondering if it might be better had I never sent anything at all. Especially considering that I'm rubbish when it comes to picking out gifts for friends and affectionate actions do not always appear positive in the light of defeat. Sorry about that, love. I wanted to stick around last month and say hello but I knew you'd be in a rut over it. As it happens ran into George Weasley and his brother, Charlie. They took me for a cuppa at the Leaky. Charlie's quite fantastic, you know! A shame I never got to play with him. You two were at school together -- what was it like?
Bother, I'm running a wrong track. What I really wanted to say was Happy Birthday. Belated or no, it's the thought that counts right?
