Continuing with her "lazy day theme", Padma decided to walk over to Mandy's to enjoy the brisk autumn air instead of Apparating. Padma took a deep breath in with each step, allowing the crisp air to fill her up. It was nice to stop and enjoy the quaint beauty that is Hogsmeade in the fall instead of pouring over tomes of books where the words eventually blur into each other. Walking slowly, Padma smiled at the citizens of the town as they went about their day; it was evident that life was returning to the village.
As she approached Mandy’s flat, Padma thought it looked different then realized she had been there at night after a tutoring session. Had she only been to her friend’s flat once in the past month? Padma shook her head at the intensity of NEWTs tutoring. All everyone is doing is studying and not really living. “I’m glad I took today off,” Padma chuckled to herself as she raised her hand to knock on Mandy’s door.
