"Andie," Molly said in a hushed voice as they walked into the lobby. "I've never stayed anywhere this grand. Arthur and I didn't even have a honeymoon."
Molly stared at the oppulent lobby and then down at her rather shabby Muggle attaire. She felt more than a bit out of place but she allowed Andromeda to tug her towards the counter.
"You understand Muggle money right," Molly whispered. "I've never quite got the hang of it."
"Have you forgotten whom I married?" she answered. She then realized that it was the first time in weeks that she was able to refer to Ted without a lump in her throat. Stop it, Andie. Pull yourself together. "And you look fine, Mol."
The two of them walked up to the registration desk and were greeted with a smile.
"Good afternoon, ladies. How may I help you?" asked the clerk, a young woman with dark, curly hair and light brown glasses. a
"Yes, we have reservations. Andromeda Tonks."
The woman began typing on her keyboard and then smiled brightly at them. "Ah, yes, Ms. Tonks. You will be staying for two evenings?" Andromeda nodded. "Your accommodations are ready for you and we've scheduled your massages for three o'clock."
"Good. Thank you."
The efficient woman took Andromeda's credit card number and then handed them two shiny keys.
"Massages?" Molly whispered as she followed Andromeda into the lift. "How utterly decadent. I think the last time I had a massage was about nine months before I had Ginny."
Even the lift was decorated beautifully with stained glass and gold inlaying. Molly reach out and gently touched the inlayed glass and when the bell to the lift rang indicating their floor she snatched her hand back.
"Andie," Molly grinned as she followed her down the hallway. "Do you realize I haven't had a bed to myself since the early seventies?"
Andromeda laughed richly at Molly's comments as they exited the lift and began walking down the corridor.
"And did Arthur happen to give you that particular massage?"
Molly blushed furiously and nodded, wearing a dreamy look on her face. Andromeda made a mental note to ask her about it later when they were either very relaxed or had a bit of alcohol in their systems. It was a good thing Death Eaters didn't know that Molly's lips loosened when she drank because the Cruciatus curse would do nothing.
"As far as the sharing a bed goes, Mol," she said in a more serious tone, "it's not all it's cracked up to be."
They stopped outside their door and Molly placed a hand on her shoulder, taking away the heaviness of her remark and reminding her that this was meant to be a weekend of fun and relaxation. Taking the key from her pocket, Andromeda opened the door and they stepped into their hotel room.
