George lay more than sat in one of Percy's over-stuffed end chairs, his lanky body spilled over the fabric like a sheet draped over a washing line. The lights were out and from the looks of it George had been plunked down in Percy's sitting room since before sunset. Unmoved since his arrival, George's long, now-numb legs appeared disconnected from his body and he was entirely too large for the furniture. George slouched with his hands folded over his thighs and a face so blank and stony it nearly blended into the background of the dark sitting room.

"Of course, what is the matter George?" Percy asked, unable to keep the worry from his voice. George's demeanor was stony, almost hostile in a subliminal sense. Percy pushed the thoughts from his mind, trying to quell the paranoia and keep his own expression calmly concerned.

Percy swallowed the lump forming in his throat, still watching George with wide eyes. "So you... what did she say?" he asked. "She never.. mentioned this to me."
