Parvati (awake at a reasonable hour for once) was sitting at the kitchen table, going over the job offerings listed in The Daily Prophet for the village of Hogsmeade. She had fallen in love with the house she had explored with Neville and Lavender and fully intended to live there this summer. However, the fact remained that she would need a source of income if she planned to live independently.

At the moment she had circled three places with her quil. It would be nice to work in Honeydukes', of course. Maybe she would get discounts on candy! And Gladrags Wizardwear was a possibility. She had always liked their socks, after all. Dervish and Banges' would probably be incredibly boring, but they also offered the highest salary...

Parvati drummed her fingers against the table, thinking. She looked up when she noticed Padma enter the room.

Padma had looked in her sister's room and found it empty. Surprised she headed for the kitchen figuring her sister would be there eating breakfast. When she walked in she found Pavarti in deep contemplation with The Prophet out in front of her.

"Good morning, sis," Padma said as she sat down in the chair next to her sister. "What are you doing with the newspaper?"

"Oh, I'm looking up the job openings in Hogsmeade. Lavender, Neville and I are probably going to live there for the rest of the summer, so... It makes sense." Parvati said, startled that she had never mentioned this to Padma before.

She noticed the letter her sister was holding. "Been reading that again?" She teased.

"Yeah," Padma starting smiling then stopped when she realized what her sister had said. "Wait, what? You are planning on living in Hogsmeade with Lavender and Neville? When did this come about?"

Parvati winced. "I'm sorry!" She said, truly contrite. "This only came about a few days ago, and I guess I just... forgot to tell you? We had the idea that living in Hogsmeade would be much more convenient..." Parvati trailed off. "You should live with us," Parvati said, hesitating a little bit. She had always assumes Padma would want to live with her Ravenclaw friends.
