Both Mercedes and Kurt/Alex have such strong personalities; it wasn't a problem when they were friends and pretty much agreed on things. :-) Puck's a little more go-with-the-flow, which they both need, I think. He's a nice balance and has the ability to lighten a tense situation just by being himself. It's one of the reasons I love writing him.

I'm glad you like the OC's. It was fun learning about them as I went along.
