Originally uploaded by bylinemjf John made me dinner for belated Valentine's Day (I was in LA during teh holiday) and it was amazing. He did his take on surf and turf, which was crabcakes and Wolfgang Puck-braised short ribs. Yeah, it was amazing. We also had homemade mashed potatoes (made with the industrial hand masher I put in his stocking), garlic bread, and would have had string beans but didn't have room. Soooo good. We had a great reunited weekend after my trip, with hiking, waterfalls, dinner, movies, outlet shopping...it's good to be home.
