An ACTUAL update
Right, so, I have things today. And because this is MY nifty live-journal, I get to say them. Thats right. There's no stopping me.
1 - Congratulations Erik on your spiffy new job!!!
2 - I miss EVERYBODY from CA!
3 - I miss EVERYBODY from VT - especially Mira and Susan - I didn't get enough time with you guys to START with.
4 - I found beer that I honestly like. This is a rare and exciting thing. They are (ranked):
1 - Fischer LaBelle - a light, french beer that is just sooooo good, and hard to find.
2 - Buffalo Bill's Pumpkin Ale - holy crap. This is the only dark beer I've ever liked.
5 - Greensboro is not the worst place in the world - now that I'm more settled in, I almost like it some. Not somewhere where I really want to live, but a nice place for my parents, and a nice place to visit.
6 - I'm giving due consideration to staying in VT for a few years after graduation, depending on jobs and such. It's not a bad place to start out.
7 - I've started packing for college again. It seems early, but packing is a process.
8 - My job is going just dandy, for anyone who cares to know. I've never met anyone with cancer who is just so positive about everything. Joyce is such a strong, cheerful woman that she really just makes me smile.
9 - I'm taking care of my neighbors' ancient little dog again. So far, she hasn't died on me. SCORE!!
10 - Prey is an unbelievably gorey but so-far-fun game.
