While random-searching through LJ, I came across a meme that was new to me: it digs through your journal and pulls out possible haiku, meaning any consecutive run of 17 syllables that doesn't require a line break in the middle of a word. The amazing thing is that after spending hours on this, I very suddenly wrote five pages of a paper that I've been avoiding since June. If only more memes had that effect on me.
