A late update is better than no update at all is better than working.

When I was only a week into not posting, I tried drafting a catch-up entry, and wound up with pages of suck. I found it disheartening, and lo! another week has passed, and still nothing is posted. That makes me a bad diarist, certainly, but not necessarily an immoral one. What makes me immoral is sitting on a train thinking of innuendo-heavy ( Read more... )

Oh for the love of all this is pure and holy! Just come out and say whether or not you got some! I don't have the brain capacity to analyze your entry in order to draw my own conclusions.

Or, I guess we'll just know when you drop out of grad school next month because you realize you're pregnant. Whatever. As long as I get to be a godparent.

If it's a boy, we're naming it Chulo, with or without Rachel's permission.

You two would be the best godparents ever, especially for a boy named Chulo, but if I'm pregnant the name is pretty much going to be whatever the angels of God suggest. You can take it up with him.

Chulo Gabriel Wahlig. Has a very nice ring to it, I feel.

And if it's a girl, Chula Maria Wahlig.

And we'll have to make sure that when the child is baptized (assuming you're ok with the Christianity), then the priest has to be hispanic, mostly for the look on his face when he hears the name "Chulo".

More like, is Christianity okay with my divinely-conceived-out-of-wedlock mystery baby being baptized with its mother's name? Because if we can work past that, I imagine we can get away with "Chulo" with a minimum of eye-rolling.

"Chula Maria" kinda rolls off the tongue, doesn't it? Well done.
