long short weekend
I started this weekend by replacing 2 doors at the duplex that were in terrible shape, both on side B. I got some help, but it was still a lot of work, tearing out the old doors, framing up the new ones etc. They look great and work great, too! Ahhhh. Much better.
Then we got Thai food and saw David Lindley at the Cactus. He was funny and he's a phenomenal musician.
Today, a tree in the front yard was splitting so I called the city. They were there in 20 minutes. They cut away the distressed part and left a huge pile of limbs and branches in the yard. I'll deal with that later.
Now I'm making chili from scratch. I even made the chili powder. It's good chili powder, with pasilla, guajillo, ancho and arbol.
