Alright for now
Still no bank account. * sigh * This is a holiday weekend, so no progress can be made on this until Tuesday. Once we get a little bit more of our paperwork cleaned up, we're considering walking around town and seeing if we can get an account.
The apartment is, at the moment, okay. Yesterday, I noticed water on the floor in front of the washing machine. I told the landlord, and he called the repair guy who had recently worked on the water issues. It turns out that the water was leaking from the wall (improperly attached pipes) rather than the washing machine, which is good, as the washing machine is ours, while the wall is the landlord's. So, anyway, that got fixed. While we were out shopping today, I got a call that our oven could be delivered (instead of tomorrow, as originally planned). So, we rushed home to deal with that. On the way home, I got an email from the computer store, that my computer parts won't be delivered until Tuesday or Wednesday. While this is disappointing, it does mean that we have a long weekend with (hopefully) no one coming to the house to do anything. I look forward to it.
