Some Good, Some Bad
It is a bit late, so I'll be brief. Today, a repair guy came and fixed part of the water heater. This means that next Tuesday (the soonest date available), the gas inspectors will come back and hopefully install our gas meter. The water heater is still old and creepy, but that may be getting fixed.
I am having a lot of trouble dealing with all the stuff that needs to be done, even though we really just need to physically be here to let people in. I'm not able to communicate, which is unpleasant. I really need to learn Portuguese, but I also am super stressed, which makes that harder. In fact, I'm so stressed that Joel had to stand in the bathroom while I showered as moral support, so that I was able to calm down enough to bathe (from a bucket).
In better news, I finally posted this short story that I've been editing for at least 6 months. I'm so glad that it is finally in more or less acceptable shape. Link. It is Fallout 4 fanfic and more or less PG, although there is mention that genitals and sex exist.
