Doctors and Menus

Not too much going on. Last week, I said that I would be adding some code to put images into my webpages of places to see. Then, I thought, "You know, that should really be a library," since it could be modular, and then I could use it whenever I needed to. Then, I realized that all the objects in my webpages (things like addresses, events, and blog entries) could be libraries that contain all the code need to add them, link them to an entity, return their data, and print their formatted data. So, I've been doing that, which took something that would have taken an hour and made it into something that will take weeks (mainly, because I realize "this can be a function too!"). Of course, this is one of those "a lot of work at the beginning saves you tons of time and frustration later", except that this isn't really the beginning. Still, I'm really looking forward to having all my code all neat and tidy with functions that handle all the repeated elements, so that when I need to change something it will be changed everywhere.

Other than that, we saw the dentist to get our teeth cleaned, and I made appointments with two more doctors for the yearly exams I need to have. Yay! We have events with friends coming up too, and tomorrow will be my first day back at tai chi. I'm looking forward to it.
