Hmm.... Not too much new. Goin' along. Doin' homework. I'm way more stable than last week, as I have been eating my peanuts and fruit like a good girl. I talked to the head of our program about us staying for another semester. I'll get the details on Monday. After that, I may try to enter the technical university. It really depends if I can understand what they are saying to me in admissions, as I won't be able to go full time, clearly, so I'll have to do some explaining. Classes are _very_ reasonably priced. I'd probably take physics again, like at the U of O, since I never finished that program. I'd start at the beginning again, since of course I won't know any of the terms in Russian and also since it has been about 13 years since I took a physics or math class. There's a lot of time between now and then, though, so I'm mainly focused on learning vocabulary. I do have a paper for art history coming up, and I'm planning on writing about Freemason symbolism on architecture in St. Petersburg. The leaves are turning here now, and it is time to get out my heavy coat. I've finally started completing some of my projects. I made a dress last week (took all of 3 hours, I think, since it is stretchy), and I am modifying a knit dress that I bought to fit a little better. I've also finally started putting buttons on a shirt I made a while ago, and I fixed a discolored area on a pair of stretch pants by putting a couple of patches on and doing some embroidery over top. So, all-in-all, everything is going pretty well. I am just keeping my fingers crossed that I can stay stable for this semester. Taking one less class definitely helps.
This week's menu is mainly leftovers, as the woman who cleans the common area in our apartment said that she needs to defrost the freezer. So, we need to eat up everything in there.
