I suggest picking up fruit platters. The really big ones that are 10 pounds and cost $30. They work wonders if you have ziploc baggies and portion everything out. Might last you two weeks, if you're careful.
I make my own. See, I don't really like 'normal' fruit like apples and oranges and grapes-the stuff that fruit platters you buy normally use to make the bulk of their platters. I like the exotic tropical fruit like papaya, mango, starfruit, kiwi, blood oranges and all of those yummy things. And they're never in fruit platters, or if they are, there are precisely two pieces.
So I go buy all of my own fruit, slice it up, put it in my own little tupperware containers and then take it to work with me and munch on it at my desk.
I did learn the hard way that you should not eat mango OR peach after brushing your teeth with Crest extra whitening toothpaste. I had to switch toothpaste so that I could continue to enjoy my breakfast.

me, I'm happy with the fruit platters we can get at Costco... grapes, cantaloupe, honeydew, strawberries and pineapple.
eww at the toothpaste bit... I remember that well from when I was using Listerine toothpaste.
