I will never travel through another portal if I can help it.

Sakura and I have decided to try and find a way back to America home once I've healed.  We've been trying to devise a way to travel without portals, but haven't been able to test any of them because of my injury.  So far, it looks like we'll have to try to find another one.  Or hope one ( Read more... )

Who are you?

(OOC; Blunt much? XD)

Care to share them?

Izumi.

[xD But that's why Neji is love~ :D How I manage to have favorite characters from a series I don't even follow is beyond me.]

I am Neji.

(OOC; Mhmm. It's because I play him. ♥)

Oh, wtf. Ihateitwhenpeoplearelikeme. Why not?

And I am currently wondering whether to base your nickname on possible innuendo in your name's English translation.

[xDDD Y OF COURS]

Because I don't give out information to people I don't trust.

*narrows eyes* I don't like nicknames.

(OOC; XD You're so mean to Neji-kun. He doesn't want to be called anything remotely related to 'screw'.)

I'm sometimes trustworthy!

How boring. Everyone gets nicknames whether they like it or not, anyway. You're not special enough to be an exception. e_e

[Izumi is mean to everyone. D: And he's usually the only really modern Japanese character I ever have, and I never get to make stupid Japanese culture jokes without him. xDDD lolganguro]

Right.

Whatever. No one's ever given me a nickname and I'd prefer to keep it like that.

(OOC; XD Neji's just a bitch. >.< He might kill you if you give him a nickname.)

Ugh. Come on, I really need to get somewhere.

With an attitude like that, you're just going to get a terrible one.

[norly, Sephiroth got stuck with things like "Sephirin" and "chinpira". D: Neji will probably be offended enough with whatever Izumi calls him to try to kill him. xD]

That's not my problem.

Does it really matter?

(OOC; Awww, poor Sephiroth. Psh, Neji will prolly try to kill Izumi anyway just for the hell of it. ^_^)

Yes. Yes it does. Would you rather be Niji-kun or Kogyaru-kun?

[xD That would be interesting. And Izumi would probably laugh. xD
Incidentally, "niji" means "rainbow", but I have no idea where the Kogyaru thing came from. o_O Because it's nearly the complete opposite of Neji?]

(OOC; XD He wouldn't be laughing once he was dead. Before I reply, wtf does 'Kogyaru' mean? *totally sucks at Japanese or whatever language that is* :3)

In which I use any excuse to be too lazy to log in. onthe_scene October 22 2006, 15:08:36 UTC
[The only problem with that is that he's already dead. xD Oh, and "kogyaru" is a genre of Japanese fashion similar to ganguro. Tanned girls with excessive amounts of make-up who show off how much money they can afford to waste by buying all of the most expensive clothes. They generally always wear mini-skirts and loose socks and are obsessed with being cute. xD "Kogyaru" is just another way to say "kogal", but "Kogal-kun" is NOT QUITE AS CATCHY.]

[....xDDDDD WELL, NO, NOT REALLY. But some English-speakers mistakenly believe that "kogal" means "hooker" because of how a lot of kogals do something called, uh, "compensated dating". And that sometimes borders on, uh. Legal prostitution. BUT IT'S NOT. xD And anyway, kogals are getting a lot more conservative now. >.>]
