[Written; Near night time (Paprika isn't visible as she isn't imposing her image)]
I hope everyone has a good dream tonight.
[It ends there. She won't be answering anyone who tries responding. If anything it's only a precaution, so no one can say she didn't warn them. Even if she didn't make herself obvious - it wouldn't be much of a surprise if

Geeze, Vash. I told you. You have to think more than just one or two moves ahead. [It's said in a friendly, teasing manner.] You're never going to beat me if you just move without thinking it through first.
[Vash in turn laughs that he's apparently loss again with a smile.] I know, I know.
Here, let me show you want you did wrong. You were doing good until a few moves ago when you left your queen wide open. [The other boy moves the pieces around to a few moves ago. Only as he does it, the pieces turn slowly into butterflies and spiders.]
The problem is you want to save all the pieces, Vash. You can't save every pawn. [With a causal tone the other boy reaches out and kills some of the smaller spiders representing the pawns.] But you just can't do that. Sometimes you have to make the smallest sacrifice you can, so the stronger pieces can live. Like us.
[Vash meanwhile can only stare down at the chess board. Not scared just yet, it was only a game of chess, wasn't it? Yet, those spiders were real. When did that happen? He quickly reaches out and grabs his brother's arm.]
Stop it, Knives! Stop it! Please!
[Knives looks up confused.] But you'll never win if you don't do this.
I don't care! Just please stop!
[The other boy leans away from the game.] Okay, Vash. We don't have to play against each other any more.
[Finally the woman speaks as the boys attempt to catch the butterflies and spiders that are running away and place them back in the game box.] I know, how about we head to that galley and make some donuts! Then we can work on adjusting one of the Plants? Does that sound like a better idea?
[Vash looks up to the woman with a smile.] Yeah, Rem! Can we?
Jeez, Vash. You're such a pig. [The boy laughs and gives Vash a playful shove that Vash returns.]
Shut up, Knives! You want some too!

So once they begin to leave for the galley, she'll follow behind slowly.]

He sits up and looks around, but it's empty as far as he can see. Nothing but sand and two suns. He pulls his knees up and so he can rest his head on his hands.]

She opts to change back to normal and slowly approaches him, choosing to sit by his side.]

I have to find Rem. She'll know what to do. I shouldn't just wait here for her. I should go find her. [He turns to go, but stops and looks back over his shoulder.]
Would you like to come with me? I don't think anyone likes to be alone.

Vash! There you are! I've been waiting for you! I thought you said you were going to help me? Oh! You brought a friend!
[Vash laughs at the woman's teasing.] Sorry, Rem. I just got a little lost for a little bit! And this is, oh, I didn't get your - [But as he turns back towards Paprika something in his memory stirs.]
...no wait, I know you... [It's not there just yet. Just on the edge of his dreaming mind. Almost like he just can't focus on this fact that he's missing.]
