Q&A under the cut )
My step-grandmother had a recipe for baked chicken covered in cream of mushroom & sour cream and served over rice. When I can I have that but in a pinch just the gravy over rice = OM NOM NOM!!!! Plus it has become my "sick" food. Zbra likes potato soup, I like tasty gravy over rice. :D
I sort of felt like it might be a disservice to all of the OTHER great things Mum has taught me but that is the one that sticks out as a sit down conversation we had, and it is something I apply daily so I guess that's why it stuck. (I showed Zbra your comment about him being cute, he beamed with pride. *grin*)
Yeah, I just... I couldn't live without you guys. The constant distance really sucks because, yes, IMAGINE the force we would be if we lived closer!!!! But at the same time, this medium both forces and allows us to talk more. It's sometimes easier to vent to people semi-anonymously than in person. You can say what you really feel & if someone doesn't like you the worst that happens is they unfriend you. You don't have to dance awkwardly around one another at the coffee pot at work afterward. And, short of twitter updates like "OMG I saw the WEIRDEST flock of geese today", we have to find actual THINGS to talk about. I dunno, the internet lets people keep their distance in some ways, and in others it brings together people who would have NEVER met otherwise. It's amazing. /random tangent
Re: #7, thanks, that one was surprisingly easy to answer. I mean a million things went through my head - are my grandparents in Heaven? is the dog I hit with my car here & does he forgive me? did dinosaurs ever really exist or did you create the earth with bones inside just to create jobs for people in the future and to see how creative we can be with so little info? - but if it were a strict 15 minute interview style situation, the questions I listed are the ones I want to know now. The rest can wait.
Yeah, considering that he IS just a kid trying to grow up & find himself right along with Harry - he was pretty spectacular. And yes, a lifelong friend to be sure.
Harry Potter farts... *giggles* I can see the WWW capitalizing on that in some way. "Bottled Harry Potter farts - smell just like daisies! Flatulence of the Favoured One! Gas of the Golden Boy" - OMG I obviously need to go to bed.
I wish I lived closer too! There needs to be some sort of Fandom Travel plan that provides cheap airfare & hotels so meetups can happen more often. *nods*
