Wild Horses, and a bit of an "oops"
I'm writing an original M/M fiction that's a follow-up to my "Wild Horses" Bya/Ren one-shot. My beta for the original story (Sardonicista) and I have agreed that there is no good reason not to "just change the names" and replace the key character names back with your Bleach awesome bishies and share this story with the world. So I did that, and it will be available only on ff.net because my hands are just too full writing, and posting takes time. Sorry...but, I thought I'd let you know.
The "oops" has to do with my "global search and replace" of Ikkaku, replacing Hal. It created a whole passel of weird words and three of them slipped through - several people PM'd me, full of humor and cheeky grins:
half = Ikkakuf
nonchalant = noncIkkakuant
and there was another, but you get the point.
Egg on my face. I was so red, I had to cover my face with a cloak and be left to die. Seriously!
It's fixed now, but I'll do *yet another spell check* from now on. And this shows us all the value of my lovely betas, Tylaske and Sardonicista Imperfecta, without whom my fics would be full of bloopers like that!
