"She told me you moved"
I've decided to let go of the "You make my heart happy dream." The dream's main character created some memorable quotes of his own Saturday evening that were far from dream-like. Here are some of my personal favorites:
"Steph! How did you get here?"
--"my roomate dropped me off"
"Your roomate drove you 2 hours here??"
--"I'm only 15 minutes away..you know that"
"Steph, I have to tell you something."
"I thought things would get awkward. I was seeing one of your friends."
"She told me you moved. I couldn't believe that you didn't tell me. Once we realized we had something in common we just started talking and hit if off. She told me you decided you weren't going to keep in contact with anybody."
--I had pneumonia.
"Steph, if it's any difference it was honestly the worst month of my life."
