So here I am sitting in the southern end of the Americana Community Bank & Insurance Agency parking lot in Medford, Minnesota. The bookmobile's heater is insanely warm for its simplicity and age. In the hour that I've been parked, I've had to adjust either the temperature or fan speed at least a dozen times. It seems there is no grey area or ideal setting. That being said, the drafts this bookmobile has are not suprising for its simplicity and age. If I have the fan off for more than 15 minutes, Father Winter creeps in and it's back to the Setting Panel at the Captain's chair I go.
Personally, I don't think anybody in Medford knows I am here. I haven't noticed anyone slow down to look. Thankfully, there is a cd player in this here mobile! I've been hosting a private dance party of my very own to keep myself entertained while I adjust the shelving. Hopefully no one has seen me as they drive by and peer into the very large windows.
I'm quite excited about this responsibility that Graham and the others have given me at the library. Hopefully, it will be an opportunity for people to say "Hey, Brandon's serious about this place." Not that I honestly think people think that of me, but sometimes I get paranoid because I'm usually in such a goofy/flippant mood when I'm at the library. I think its because I feel like I'm truely accepted for who I am as a person and as a co-worker, which is something I haven't had in a job before. OPL, I give you my life, should you have it!
I'm off to do some more rearranging. If you happen to not be busy between the hours of NOW and 7pm and are in a 100 mile radius of Medford, Minnesota, do pay me a visit. Please knock, I have been scared by Graham already.
