Whatever words I say...
Last night at a potentially weekly poker game, I told an anedote about John Conway and his antics with pennies. John (a different John) responded quizzically "what's that have to do with mathematics" to which I replied "nothing really, its just a party trick. Half of mathematics is party tricks, really."
