I find that when I start dating someone I tend to post less. I have a conjecture to explain this.
Posting about a relationship is somewhat like PDA - people who aren't getting any action really don't want to see others getting action in the middle of the street. Similarly, people aren't dating someone don't want to hear about how we had a wonderful breakfast at the Homemade Cafe this morning, or how I met her friends the other night and they really liked me, or how the time just flys by when we're together, or how I really like her positive attitude towards everything and the way she finds herself enjoying any situation (this is something I recently found myself telling a friend that I was really looking for).
And if I'm not posting about that, there's little else to post about at the moment, because that's what's occupying most of my thoughts and desires. I guess there's a little math in there too.
Ooh, here's something: I've been really enjoying representation theory lately, and we filled out Serganova's evaluations today. Under "weaknesses" I put "Vodka? Quivers?" Really, I had few complaints about the class and lots of good to share.
And finally, as long as i'm on subject of PDA, here's the OMDQOTD:
"I see people making out on the streets, and I think 'I don't hate them anymore'."
And finally, I'm going to finish my Very Large Hot and sour soup and go do work on this lovely friday afternoon. Why? Because celeberties go out on the weeknights and stay in on the weekends, and deep inside we all want to be celeberties. (Its what the cool kids are doing).
