This might be a new record for posts in a week
With all this hit and run bullshit, it is hard to get excited for our vacation next week. The one good thing is that we will most likely get to take the rental car my dad has right now which is a 2011 Ford Taurus. I had no idea they made the Taurus into that nice a car. It's pretty sweet and it has satellite radio which should make the ride down tolerable. We are leaving Monday and stopping at Delaware Park on our way to Baltimore because we can't check in til later in the day and because my dad was sad we weren't going to Vegas and he wouldn't get to gamble. I don't know what we are going to do other than the aquarium in Baltimore. Hoefully, I'll get to see Neenan and Liz at some point before we head to Washington DC on Wednesday afternoon-ish. I am looking forward to Washington. I have only been there twice on school trips, once in HS and once in college. There are plenty of Smithsonians and other monuments and stuff to keep us busy. I am also looking forward to seeing our hotel there. It is the hotel that has hosted the Inaugural Ball for every president since FDR. The Friday night that we are there we are going to a Washington Nationals game because they are playing the Phillies. Matt and Kristina are coming down and going to the game with us because he mom bought her the tickets for her birthday. There are fireworks after the game so that should be a good time. All I know is that I can't wait for a week of eating at good restaurants because I heart food. DC is supposed to have a ton of really good restaurants and I know Baltimore will have some great seafood.
