Heh, I cursed myself - as soon as I'm finished with The Historian, The Vampire Lestat is waiting for me. Only Anne Rice book I could re-read all over again...

Whoa! Good stuff!
Now I want to see 'Tanz...' I wonder if it'll be coming to the UK?

Alas, the English version of Tanz didn't have very good lyrics, and it tanked on Broadway. But who knows - if it's as much a hit in Japan as it was in Germany and Poland, maybe someone will commission a new translation and do it properly this time :)

Definitely not a fan of the vampire chronicles, but oooh. Your words are so evocative and sensual and beautiful. Lovely, lovely stuff :D

This was lovely. I haven't heard nor seen Tanz der Vampire but from what little I could learn of it in this fic it sounds very interesting.

I especially enjoyed the last part, the final prophecy and Lestat's response:

"It's a fair trade," he whispers.

So very much like him. Wonderful!

Oh, Tanz is beyond lovely. Clicking on my vampires tag will bring up a list of my ravings - it's been my permanent obsession since it opened in October.

Lestat's just the kind to care about the glory, not the fall, isn't he?
