(no subject)
i've been thinking SO much internally lately. And it really does affect me. Especially in Acting because thats where i become the most emotional everytime- even during warm ups- and it scares me to let that out...so i don't...and it came to the point where Antonio pulled me aside after class and was like...kara...it's ok to tell us things. to let things out. I was like...uh..yea..i know...we'll see where it goes from here. lol. What a great response huh? ...i'm an idiot. lol. Theres just a lot i've been thinking about lately...so much to prove to myself..and so much to get done. And in reality i just have to let everything happen and stop trying to control everything. whatever lol.
I got cast as Maggie in The Shadow Box so that should be interesting....well it already is. Me and Joe have only rehearsed once and i'm missing this weekends rehearsals to see Pat's show but i really do enjoy the show it's phenomenal. I jsut...really wanna do it justice..and right now...something is not clicking. Hopefully when i get off book everythign will be flowing in. That rehearsal was SO strange though. VERY physcial- he made us do wall squats while pulling this extension cord...to try and get all of it from the other person (like tug of war kinda) and it was to the point where i was ON his back...curled up..still pulling from around his neck..and then he kept walking...and then like slammed me down...i'm like...bruised up pretty badly lol. It was ridiculous. But yea.
Oh Mike bought the RENT movie soundtrack already so i put it on my i-tunes. I like the show..but i've never been a HUGGGGGGEEE Rent fan. The movie soundtrack is pretty different. It's very good though. Rossario is very good...surprised me...but VERY different then Daphnene. Everyone is gonna have their own opinions but..whatever. Idina sounds phenomenal..and Mr. Diggs is.....sounding sexy lol. Adam Pascal is sooooo rockish..it's cool. BUT it DEFINITELY sounds like a movie soundtrack lol. it's a lot.....smoother and stuff..like very low key. it's funny. ANYWAY yea.
