Challenge Four Results
The votes are in, and the winners of our four challenge here at bwfd_ldws have been chosen! A huge thanks to the sixteen people who voted this week!
But first, a note from your Modly Trio.
This week, in the rush of holiday madness and the general spirit of patriotism that swept over your Modly Trio, a drabble slipped by that was over the word limit. And, given the addle-mindedness that comes from consuming all-American foods and drinking all-American lager, we did not notice this until the voting post went up.
This is unfortunate and just as much our fault as the author's so this week, we're going to let it slide. We don't want to punish anyone for an infringement of the rules, especially coming off of a holiday weekend, but rules are rules.
So, from here on out, remember that the absolute maximum word limit is 499, like it says on the banner. We'll try to keep a sharper eye on it as submissions roll in but it is ultimately your responsibility. Disqualification looms for those who don't keep this in mind. Meep!
Also, on a similar topic, editing. If you have a paid account that allows for comment editing and you see a typo in your drabble after submitting it, feel free to fix it as long as it is before 11:59PM GMT Sunday. However, please leave another comment to the Challenge post to alert us of the change. We copy and paste drabbles into gdocs as they're submitted and don't always catch edits made after the fact. Thank you in advance!

This week, we had one contestant disappear on us. We hope that everything is okay, but since none of the mods were informed, wickedtrue has been eliminated.
