The dress quest! part 1
Hi guys I am going to try and chronicling my search for a dress... that could be my wedding dress!
While he has proposed yet...YET. He did tell me to start looking at dresses I would like to wear or have made.
The dress I instantly thought of was this :
It's a 1950 Fred Perlburg prom dress. so I a faced with two problems already. 1. It will never be in my size 2. The shop that had them had two and they were sold out.
So I have begun my quest for a dressmaker who can do this. It has to have three things
1. In my size! (US 24)
2. close enough to the original... maybe adding sleeves
3. most importantly in our price range.
So I hope I find someone who can... or I will just have to find another dress.
