Year in review:
JANUARY.
1. did you have a new year's resolution this past year?: If I did, I'm sure I didn't keep it.
2. Who kissed you at midnight?: No one. But I watched the episode of Dawson's Creek where Pacey and Joey first kissed shortly thereafter.
3. does it snow where you live?: Not for the first 2 weeks of Jan, then I went back to a snow storm.
4. do you like hot chocolate?: Most definitely!
5. have you ever been to times square to watch the ball drop?: I got to times square 6 hours after the ball dropped a couple of years ago...so I at least saw the aftermath.
FEBRUARY.
1. who was your valentine in 2005?: No one.
2. what did your valentine get you?: I hate this month. February should be removed from the calenders and we should have 2 Julys instead.
3. when you were little, did you buy valentines for your whole class?: Yes...the days when Valentines day just mean lots of candy and had no other implications.
MARCH.
1. are you Irish?: :-) :-) :-)
2. Do you wear green on St. Patty's Day?: Of course!!
3.what did you do for St. Patricks Day 2005?: I went to Manhattan all decked out in Irish stuff, hung out with friends, and then went and saw Rent.
APRIL.
1. Do you like the rain?: I like rain in the summer, when it's warm rain.
2. Did you play an April fool's joke on anyone this year?: Not this year.
3. do you get tons of candy on easter?: I spent Easter on a plane. But they gave me cookies.
MAY.
1. What's your favorite kind of flower?: It depends on the occasion...roses from a guy (or a least just once so I can say I have gotten them), sunflowers in fields, scarlet pimpernels to discover when your walking, daisys to make chains and put in my hair, and so on...
3. Do you like the spring?: Yes, especially now that its a welcome relief to snow.
4. Finish the phrase: April Showers Bring May Flowers, What do May flowers bring?: Summer!
5. What would you think of as a spring color?: Baby Blue.
JUNE.
1. What year did you graduate from high school?: 2001
2. Did you go on any vacations last June?: I left CA for NY, but for work, not vacation.
JULY.
1. What did you do on the 4th of July?: Got up really early and walked to the Richfield Springs 4th of July parade (in a town where there is only 1 main street) to support the Glimmerglass float, then we to the lake for swimming and barbequing.
3. did you go on any vacations during this month?: Nope.
AUGUST.
1. did you do anything special to end off your summer?: Lots and lots of end of the summer parties at the Opera.
2. what was your favorite summer memory of '05?: Standing backstage during a tech rehearsal of Cosi Fan Tutte and listening to the lead tenor tell stories that were so funny we could all barely stand, and then watching the two leading ladies interpt him to start performing their duet like a rap complete with dancing. I don't think I laughed that hard at any other point during the summer.
3. do you go swimming a lot in the summer? Not really in NY since the only place to swim is lakes which kinda gross me out.
4. Do you go to the beach a lot? I did when I lived near Pismo...though we went there more at night than anything else for bonfires.
SEPTEMBER.
1. Did you attend school/college in '05?: Unfortunately.
2. who is/was your favorite teacher? My favorite teacher is Prof. Bergesson, my film teacher. He was really funny and cool, and well, rather good looking ;-)
3. do you like fall better than summer?: I like the holidays so yes, but I prefer summer weather.
OCTOBER.
1. what was your favorite halloween costume ever?: My Jedi costume, but I hope to out shine it soon.
2. what's your favorite candy?: Peanut M & Ms
3. did you have a boyfriend/ girlfriend this month?: What do you think?
NOVEMBER.
1. whose house do you usually go to for thanksgiving?: Um, well 'usually' doesn't apply to my life at all anymore. This Thanksgiving I spent cleaning my apartment, picking up my mom from the airport and watching Bride and Prejudice while eating cheese and crackers and pumpkin pie.
2. Do you like stuffing?: Sometimes.
3. what are you thankful for?: Everything.
DECEMBER.
1. do you celebrate christmas?: Yes!! 6 days!! woo-hoo!
2. have you ever been kissed under mistletoe?: No. And not for lack of trying.
3. what do you want this year for christmas?: Movies. and silly things. I don't really know.
4. what's the best present you ever got for Christmas?: I've gotten so many wonderful things, but opening up an envelope on the tree with plane tickets to NY was probably up there.
5. do you like cold weather?: I like weather that is not below freezing. So 40 degree cold is okay.
