Pop Hit "Prayer" Added to Score of Promises, Promises Revival
Theatregoers who attend the upcoming Broadway revival of Promises, Promises, which begins previews March 27 at the Broadway Theatre, will have an additional song to enjoy.
A show spokesperson confirmed to Playbill.com that the Burt Bacharach-Hal David pop hit "I Say a Little Prayer" has been added to the score of the musical and will be performed by its Tony and Emmy-winning leading lady, Kristin Chenoweth.
Directed and choreographed by Tony and Emmy Award winner Rob Ashford, Promises will officially open April 25.
