Theater stars came out to support Rosie O’Donnell’s theater-based charity Rosie’s Broadway Kids in an evening of music and comedy at the Palace Theatre on November 23. Titled “A Broadway Extravaganza” and hosted by O’Donnell, the benefit included a tribute to Queen Latifah and performances by Nikki Blonsky, Shoshana Bean, Melinda Doolittle, Norma Lewis and more. After the show, VIPs stepped next door to Ginger’s Restaurant for a gala after-party, and Broadway.com snapped photos of all your favorites.

And here are some of the bright-eyed kids (with Queen Latifah) who benefit from the arts programming provided by Rosie O’Donnell’s charity.

Look who came out to support Rosie O’Donnell’s work with needy kids: the one and only Chita Rivera!

Sweet Jonathan Groff also came to support Rosie. (Can’t wait to see him in Glee!)

Memphis star Montego Glover wowed the crowd with her performance at the Palace Theatre.

Another powerhouse performer, Shoshana Bean, was on the program.

Check out this threesome of singing stars: Hairspray movie lead Nikki Blonsky, Little Mermaid alum Norm Lewis and American Idol finalist Melinda Doolittle.

Behind the makeup, that’s Kathy Fitzgerald and Justin Bohon, who delighted the audience with a number from Jim Henson’s Emmet Otter.

It’s a Hairspray reunion for Nikki Blonsky and Queen Latifah, who played Tracy Turnblad and Motormouth Maybelle in the hit movie musical.
