• The Kennedy Center's Broadway Up Close and Personal series will continue with an evening devoted to the work of Marvin Hamlisch, November 16th. Audiences can expect performances of Hamlisch tunes by Broadway performers Liz Callaway, Kevin Earley and Karen Ziemba.
• Carrie Fisher’s one-women tell-all, Wishful Drinking, has extended its run by two weeks at the Roundabout Theatre Company’s Studio 54. The show, which opened on October 4, was originally slated to close on January 3, 2010. The production, directed by Tony Taccone, will now play through January 17.

• Francesca Zambello, who directed the first production of the Broadway-bound musical The First Wives Club at San Diego’s Old Globe Theatre in July 2009, “has withdrawn from that production due to scheduling conflicts".
