I know! I was just thinking about that when you said 8 years, lol. You think ... oh my god. I was in high school. We used to listen to his songs the minute we stepped into the choir room and had a poster of him in the room. We were such fangirls.

You're lucky you had real life friends who liked him... My friends thought he was talented just weren't into his music. My parents liked him and tolerated my fangirling (I mean they drive me 8 hours to see him :)). I do miss the old forum though... when it was like 100 members... then the 2002 Olympics happened. And then I left. To many tweens who only cared about how Hot josh was...

I stopped reading the JG forum for that reason. I think the "pictures of his chest" thread was when the forum jumped the shark.

My choir teacher LOVED him. I told her about him and she was absolutely hooked so she put on his CD every day. We converted a lot of people into Grobanism, haha. I remember that! It was mostly young people who were my age and older people who appreciated his talent. Didn't know that the forum jumped the shark! How sad. Well, hopefully you found some people online that appreciated him and his music. :)
