I finished the book at 3 AM last night. Oh. My. God.
The ending of the series was perfect. It makes me sad though that that was the last book.
One of the parts that made me teary was when Harry and Hermoine went to Godric's Hollow and saw his parents' graves, and then saw the house he first lived in as a baby. And also at the end, when he's handing himself over and he uses the resurrection stone and talks to his parents, Sirius and Lupin. ; ;
My heart totally sank when I found out Tonks and Lupin had died. I thought Tonks would have stayed out of battle because she had a child to take care of. But since they're both gone, Harry got to do the best Godfather in the world thing.
And I knew Severus would be good! I knew it.
Oh, and one thing I don't get. When Harry said he's going to take the Elder's Wand back to where it came from... where is he taking it? And I wonder if Harry, Ron and Hermoine went back when they were 18 to finish their studies at Hogwarts.
I'm going to reread the epilogue because it made me ridiculously happy. Perfect ending. :]
I want to read the whole series over. I actually never even read the first book. lol I'll buy a 7-book set whenever they start making those.
