Waited to get on plane due to maintenance problem, waited on plane, got off plane, waited a lot more. Finally after a couple more hours of waiting, they admit we're fucked and they can't get anyone where they need to go (this was last night). Spent five hours at the airport and those fuckers don't want to jack about it. I pitched a bitch and they put me on a standby list for a 1st class upgrade. If I get it, I plan on drinking the free booze equivalent of the $640 cost of my flight.

And no, I'm not bitching about a mechanical problem, but the staggeringly incompetant customer service that followed it.
