did you know that in some states down south, prisoners can not vote?
"In the United States, prisoner voting rights are extremely restricted. Although three states do allow prisoners to vote (Maine, Massachusetts and Vermont),there are 10 states that completely bar anyone with a criminal record from voting for life: Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Iowa, Kentucky, Mississippi, Nevada, New Mexico, Virginia and Wyoming." -CBC archives

- conservativeforum.org (Canada)
The Conservative Party of Canada will restrict the voting rights of prisoners, DESPITE a recent 2002 Supreme Court decision to reinact their voting rights. Is this truly a Canadian idea of rights?
