(no subject)
I know I haven't been updating. It gets into that guilt/avoid cycle.
So, what's on with the buzzy? Not a huge lot. I've been doing school workshops at "work" for the past three weeks. ONL is using another volunteer (I need to find him a neat alias) as a buffer zone. It seems to be working.
The fanficing has stalled. I can't work out what happens next in the "Wolverine and the X-Men" halloween story -- I've got the Quentin/Quentavius thing sorted (difference: about three years, one nervous breakdown and an attitude problem*) and I now don't know what to do with a) Idie and b) a plot and c) what the hell Wolverine does with two unhinged and volatile students.
Have to sort out Spooky's Xmas Present (I want to make something, anything, stitching useful) and am finding it sheer bloody hell to get my hands on a) black aida fabric b) black cotton evenweave fabric and/or c)black embroidery canvas. At nearly reasonable prices - currently the canvas option looks like £9.50 - pants.
*the old cliche: Quentin has an attitude, it is everyone's problem. Boy most likely to take over the world and reduce said world to a barren firey ball in space -- unfortunately, with Quentin, this is achievable and possibly his ambition. Or one of them, along with teen!Jean and dead!Jean in bed together (with or without Quentin, as long as he gets to watch) and more tater tots at lunch.
