quentin again

Okay, I've just written five tons of Quentin backstory (under the well-used guise of one character telling another - Anole) which Dosk finds "very convincing" and thinks slots into what we know about Kid Omega perfectly and documents his seriously screwed up childhood (or lack thereof) and exactly why...

[it also explains his attitude to Broo, but that is another story]

"...Kid Omega is in the house" announces MC Quentin, head banging like his neck was made out of spaghetti and slinky springs.

[horrible metaphor]

uhm, I was looking for names for Quentin's "replacement" [did i mention that his parents are emotionally abusive fucks?] and hit Quenton - which has the full-out nastiness I've come to expect of them...

[canon: they phoned him on his 14th birthday he was adopted and to not come "home" and his stuff was in the mail -- I'd go off the rails on that one, too, just not like Quentin with the Riot At Xavier's]

because, come on, adopting a new baby, basically Quentin redux (without the unfortunate genetics and attitude problem) by just changing the kid's name by one freaking letter...

so, yeah, Quenton Quire, sorry but your future is a shit sandwich

anywhichways, I was looking for baby names (seriously) for anything that begins with Q- and I found this little gem:
When presented with issues, they will see the larger picture. Their solitary thoughtfulness and analysis of people and world events may make them seem aloof, and sometimes even melancholy.

Sort of oh-so-wrong and oh-so-right at the same time.

wolverine and the x-men, quentin quire, i can kill you with my mind, kid omega
