Happy Happy Joy Joy!
1) Am going to London tomorrow and will be back Saturday. I get to see all my little friends before they disappear. And get hugged to death. If you never hear from me again, I have become the first person to be aspixated by friendly hugging.
2) The wonderful wonderful calathea sent me a whole box of Due South videos and has my fangirly gratitude. All I need now is control of the video recorder... and my dominion will be complete.
3) papajoemambo was the first to blink and told me what my surprise is on im. It is very squeeable. A copy of this:
Signed by the amazing Bill Sienkiewicz, one of my favorite comic artists (and with a cover like that, who can argue?) to me buzzylittleb. All I need now is for him to actually post it ;-) By amazing coincidence it's my favourite issue. The slumber party is wrecked by the arrival of outer space techno-organic being Warlock, who after a massive fight (which they struggle to keep secret from their unwitting guests), turns out just to be a scared boy running form his murderous father. For the unwary, the new mutants are (left to right):
