In the off chance that somebody knows what I am talking about:
"Professor" Bernice Summerfield / "Doctor" River Song
How can this be anything less that awesome? Somebody? footnote one
On other news, finally remembered that best bit of Who on Saturday was hearing Matt Smith imitate the Tardis landing noise.
Thirdly, the brane continues to hate. I have done some stitchy for mummyfrog's birthday and my index finger hates me. It might have something to do with the evil crewel needle needed to punch through 14ct aida.
Cumulatively, the brane keeps mentioning Lewis/Hathaway. I am still trying to find a reason for this to be a BAD IDEA. footnote two
Tiny footnotes
no. 1 - Bernice Summerfield is an archaeologist with a fondness for Martian wine, historical mysteries and reading trashy novels.
I make my point. In some universe her earthly double is
_unhurt_ and *buzzy ducks*
She appeared most notably as the companion in the book version of "Human Nature" where she outclassed Martha substantially. To be fair, you can't really pass Martha off as Smith's sufragette niece - 10 is significantly more youthful than 7. Last time I checked, Auntie had the book available via their website. It is great, read it. Although the eventual fate of the family of blood was so much better onscreen. And much more disturbing in terms of the Doctor's actual capabilities (as opposed to stuff he tells himself he can't do) when roused.
no.2 - Lewis from Morse now detectoring with the aid of Hathaway, who is over-educated and ambiguous at the best of times. ♥
