Vampire!kurt report.
Am still, still, still working on the new vampire!Kurt fic, it is now getting seriously long and involved (well for me anyway, at 5300ish little buggers) and probably contains some of the most gratuitously purple prose in existance (possibly) and some weird tense changes (certainly). I'm on the home stretch now, but I can't write scared!vulnerable!female right now to save my life (or anyone else's). Trust me, once it gets done (and I think I'm going to have to check it through before I post anyway), it will one) have you on the edges of you seats and two) have an amzing shock revelation.
Yes, I know the costume is the wrong one by a mile for the period of x-ish-ness the whole shebang is set in.
Other news: went on walk around village, thus making mumness happy since she thinks I should exercise more. Went and lurked around old primary school. When did things become so small? (and before you ask I grew about 2inches post age 11, so it's not quite that) and why is the place just rotting away in places? Sure, they have a lovely pagoda bit and an extention on the special needs building, but beyond that it looks like they've never painted the place since I left. And when did the (beyond massive) hump become a tiny hillock?
Strange world.
Other news: the phone spent the morning doing odd things, bbd spent morning trying to dial phone on mobile. I hate the ringtone. I really do.
Oh, and I got the funniest review ever on Twice Shy over on ff.net, Warren Ellis is considering setting up his own religion, I don't need to.
