The new Fall Out Boy CD "From Under the Cork Tree" arrived at my house on Sat. afternoon to my surprise. I've been listening to that and only that for the past 3 days, and will continue to listen to it for a while as it is a great CD. My favorite thus far has been "Dance, Dance" which has great lyrics and an even catchier beat to it. I can listen to that several times in a row and really get into it, kind of like the Unwritten Law song "Darkside." I don't know what it is about that song, but it starts out kinda slow with guitars fading in and then (BAM !) comes the bass, drums, and a thicker sounding guitar riff. Music kicks ass.
I am in the midst of watching Da Ali G Show on DVD right now, though, I did pause it to check when Busch Gardens opens tomorrow as Sunny & I are going to go. 9:30am-7pm, anyone want to go ?
Work has been pretty cool, I've been doing a lot of IMAX work for SOARIN' (which opens Thurs. @ Epcot). It takes so much work to get it started up in the morning that all of my other work has been falling behind. It takes anywhere from 3-4 hours to perform the daily P.M. (Preventative Maintenance) on the projector, if it's not done, then the ride doesn't open. The odd thing is, I am not the only projectionist on 3rd shift anymore on my side of the park, we have 2 more, so you wouldn't think that the normal workload would fall behind, but due to the lack of cooperation between the veteran projectionist (who is taking it upon himself to "improve" on our IMAX machines, by "improve" I mean fucking them up) and Joey and I. I informed the "elder" projectionist that I would take care of Theatre B for SOARIN' the other night, my friend Pete told me that after I drive him out to Costuming, go back and start working on the projector because if you don't he will. I kinda didn't believe him, so I went back over there afterwards. I was up there for about an hour and a half when he comes in, shocked to see me, and decides quickly that he was there to drop off my P.M. sheet (SURE). That fucker was going to take my work from me, what a cock-knocker. Well, I'm gonna get ready for Sunny since she's staying over tonight so we can leave for Busch Gardens in the morning.
