Moved house!
So yesterday, I woke up in my flat for the last ever time. My Dad pulled up in a big van, my Mum followed in a big car, and we lugged all my furniture and boxes into them. Then some stuff DK sold/ gave us. Then we drove them all to the new house and unloaded. Then Dad went of to get Ash's big stuff, and his litter stuff will follow over the next few days.
People, I am now cohabiting!
It'll be weird. I've lived in my little flat for two years and honestly it's been a blast. I know I've spent very little time actually there, but it was mine and it was my save hovel to come back to and curl up when I needed it. It was arranged exactly how I wanted it and I loved that place.
But I am so friggin' excited that I haven't stopped grinning for the last 24 hours. Ash and I slept at the new house last night, christened it with a take away, and began unpacking boxes today. Then got distracted by my new Kinect which is OMG SO FREAKING FUN! So more unpacking will be done over the next few days too.
I've also spent so much money. Bought a washing machine, a freezer, and a fold out dining table. This is on top of money I paod DK for his bed and other bits, and need to pay Soph for a sofa bed, and need to pay Tracy for Russel Howard tickets. Luckily my parents are lending me half until I get paid when I'll settle some of that debt (they're giving us some as a house warming gift too - my parents ROCK).
But OMG WE HAVE A HOUSE AND WE CAN LIVE THERE AND OMFGWTFBBQ!
I'll also be offline from now until the 16th, except what I can access on my mobile and at work (minimal at best!) until we get the new internet sorted. I can blog now because I'm at Ash's old house for probably the last time (because he has work at 8am and I didn't want to stay in the new house on my own because it's OUR place and needs both of us there. But then he moves from the store in Ponte to the store in Hudd on Monday so he'll not be back here after the weekend either).
Hopefully we'll have managed to unpack by the time I'm next online...
