That's what he said, right after giving me a beautiful necklace and cross of white gold with 2 tanzanite and a diamond on it for Valentine's Day. So simple. So Beautiful. What is the difference between a cross and a crucifix anyway? (Being raised a good Catholic girl I "should" already know this I think.)
So SWEET, my husband. He is always so thoughtful and giving, always trying to spoil me. (He bought me a sterling silver necklace and earring set from Tiffany's for my birthday one year - which was awesome except that he was unemployed at the time). My husband is AWESOME.
I on the other hand I-ROYALLY-SUCK. I am the worst wife ever. I completely forgot about Valentine's Day, completely forgot to get anything for my darling husband, and then feel even worse and more guilty when he presented me with his gift. and I all I made him for dinner was a poor version of sloppy joes.
Like I said - I suck.
I heard on the news that because of the ice storm we had that a lot of couples weren't able to follow through on their Valentine's Day plans. I'm guessing they will all be trying this weekend to make up for it. We'll be home unpacking (finally).
Tomorrow is my big big brother's birthday. I didn't forget that, but I don't remember how old he'll be although I know it's a year less than my parent's anniversary which is on the 24th. Happy Birthday Big Brother however old you are!
