I booked my ticket today! I leave on the 6th of December. Just gotta pay through the nose now... work, work, work. *sighs* I have so much stuff to organise. Damn!!

   It's where I live and it's the country I love! I hate that I have to leave it, but it's only temporary which makes it ok - plus, I'm going to be with my girl! When I come back, she and Josh will be able to come too. *beams* Gotta remember to put that Dorothea Mackellar poem up - I love my sunburnt country!
2. cats:
   They're gorgeous and fluffy and adorable. They always run to welcome me when I come home, cuddle with me in the evenings, and play with me when I sit in the sun. When I'm sad, they snuggle with me to cheer me up, and Cle and I dance together! I love dogs too, but I think I'll always be a cat person. They're just so personable.
3. fanfic:
   I read it - it's free! I write it - less characterisation involved! LOL. I can make things happen, which I want to occur on the show(s) but I know never will. That's satisfying. It's my lazy thing to write. I often don't have time to sit and plot, characterise etc... so this is just keeping my hand in.
4. j/7:
   I'm kind of going off them (Janeway and Seven of Nine, from Star Trek: Voyager). I still like them, but they don't inspire me the way they used to. These days, I concentrate on Olivia and Alex from SVU.

   That's me! That's my girlfriend! That's my housemate! We're like... lesbians... that are vegetarians. *nods sagely* Yeah.

   Oooooooh! Hot!!! So many issues, such a complex character, such great breasts. And curves. And eyes. And... Ok, right, I'll stop. Go watch SVU, you'll see.
7. recipes:
   A written guide to what I eat. I like to write, I like to eat, and I like to cook. Combine them all and what do you get? Recipes! I hate it when they're all slap-dash. There's a method to writing recipes, and I like to do it just so. And they should never be a family secret. Go see the_watermelon!

   Olivia's counterpart, and also super hot. She's more classically attractive, but when she gets feisty... wow. She's cold, and cool, and icy and frosty, but underneath the surface... *grins*

   I like 'em! They're cruisy and funky and when I sing their music I have reasonable intonation.
10. xena:
    My first cruuuuush... well, tv crush, that I realised was a crush. I had a poster of her on the back of my door (so when my friends came over, I could open the door and they wouldn't see such an uncool poster in my room) and I practiced raising my eyebrows in the mirror for months til I could do it just like her. I was fourteen and I'd never seen anyone more spectacular. The Xenaverse was my first fandom and my introduction to lesbianism. LOL!!
